Starter Breadsticks
The starter of a great meal. I don't often eat too much bread before meals, however I did this time because they tasted really good. They were crunchy outside, and really fluffy on the inside; like how any toasted bread should be. It was warm and had a slight salty flavour. Mixed in a dip of truffle butter, it was delicious.
Gazpacho
A traditional Spanish soup. Gaspacho is made by blending a mix of raw vegetables together into a savoury tomato puree. Tomato cubes can further be added further to thicken and add flavour to the soup. With basil and in this case, a savoury crisp, heightens the flavour given by this wonderful pastey soup
Peruvian Chips with Raspberries and Steak
The name is exotic enough to explain the dish. A medium rare piece of veal, complimented with raspberries is something to die for. The sweetness of the meat culminate with the fruity flavour of the raspberry to form an explosion of flavour in your mouth. The Peruvian chips, on its own, already look absolutely crisp and mouth watering, however, with the spiced pumpkin sauce they are sitting on top of, the flavour of the chips are intensified; where natural saltiness and sweetness of the chips, are heightened.
Balls
I can't quite remember what these were. However, come to think of it, they kinda' look like the Quidditch Balls in Harry Potter.
Scallop
This scallop was extraordinary. You can see in the picture how large this scallop was. Garnished with carrots, cauliflower and tomatos, this dish is the perfect mix between garden and sea.
Chocolate Dessert
There lies 2 small scoops of chocolate icecream, along with brownie, sitting atop a thin layer of chocolate. Below it, a pool of fudge lies waiting to envelope the bits of dessert on the top. Garnished with mint, this dessert coats your tongue on a robust and enriching flavour of chocolate, and is complimented with the mint leaves on top.
